I first met Laura right after I had given birth to my first son, and she treated me for my sprained ankle. Laura also had a boy the same age as my son and had no problem treating me while I had my baby in the Bjorn carrier; we made it work! I am now very grateful that Laura is making home visits and helping me with my recovery after having surgery to repair my umbilical hernia and diastasis recti, the results of a traumatic childbirth injury I had while in labor with my 2nd son. Laura focuses on the entire body, including often ignored but very important breath work. Especially during these crazy times, it is such a gift to have an exceptional physical therapist in the convenience of my home. Our visits are the perfect balance of hands-on work, breathwork, and movements. After each visit, Laura emails me a detailed review of what we did and the exercises that I should be doing at home. While at first, I was hesitant to go out of network.
